Scripture and sociological data show us that the role of the father is one of the most key determining aspects of children, especially sons, continuing on and thriving in the faith they were raised in. Many dads have the desire for their sons to thrive in their walk with Jesus, but they struggle to know how to lead their children spiritually. So this summer, we will take four Thursdays (June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9) from 11:45-1 to read and discuss Jon Tyson’s book, The Intentional Father in 109 Frazier. Dads of sons of all ages are welcome to come to any or all of the sessions to learn from, share, and pray with other dads about raising their sons to love God and neighbor. It will be a bring-your-own-lunch meeting. You can purchase the book from any major book seller. If you are interested, please sign up here and you will receive a reading schedule.
